Position
As a Senior Software Engineer for Payment Integrity, you’ll be part of a team responsible for the success of the new product. You’ll be closely involved in all aspects of product delivery from start to finish. That includes developing product in a CI/CD process and working with the entire delivery team from development to production. This role is key to building Optum Payment Integrity’s strategic product solution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
- Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality
Your qualification
- Proven strong coding experience with one or more of the follow languages Typescript or JavaScript, with a willingness and ability to learn new ones
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals using GIT: unit testing, agile and DevOps
- Experience working with at least one of the following: continuous integration / continuous delivery tools, REST API development, serverless architecture, containerization, IaC, public / private cloud, application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture, experience with Public cloud, Azure preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Will be a plus
- Understanding of distributed architecture design principles
- Experience with React
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience implementing large-scale/high performance componentized web applications across multiple technology domains
- Experience in the health care industry
