Position

Our client is a big (2k employees in all major cities in Germany) company with several digital products and services on the market that make easier daily life of their customers. The firm is growing rapidly improving its services to the customers. The company keeps the atmosphere of a small dynamic startup having the resources of a big corporation. Most of the technical decisions happen within a team. 

Your tasks include

• You will lead a development team from a technical and disciplinary point of view, which will take care of the construction of a new banking center - right from the start
• You are responsible for recruiting highly qualified and motivated employees
• You take responsibility for the conception, design, implementation and quality assurance of state-of-the-art Java web applications within the framework of their shared microservice architecture
• You take over the personal and technical coaching of your employees and support the quality assurance and optimization of systems in the form of code and architecture reviews
• You accompany complete project cycles and product lifecycles
• You and your team are responsible for the operation and long-term success of the banking center
• You take on project responsibility in coordination with the existing development teams in Munich

Your qualification

• First professional experience as a team leader for Java development or at least three years of professional experience as an architect / senior developer
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring and Microservices with REST APIs
• Good handling of SQL and databases (Oracle/MySQL)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Clean Code is an advantage
• Hands-on mentality and implementation strength, willingness and enthusiasm to also develop code yourself, especially in the start-up phase of the team
• Quick comprehension of complex relationships, good analytical and conceptual skills
• Readiness for continuous further training
• Very good written and spoken English skills make you the “perfect fit!”
