Our client is Germany's top price comparison platform. Currently, it has 40 million views per month and is in the TOP 10 websites in the Shopping category in Germany. Headquartered in Munich and has offices in all major German cities. The company was founded 20 years ago and currently employs 2k+ people. They keep the atmosphere of a small cosy company having the resources of a big company. It means that decisions are made fast and most of them happen within a team.
Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the cross-device quality assurance of customer-facing and back-office applications
- Analyzing the functional requirements and creating the appropriate test scenarios
- Creation and maintenance of test plans and test cases in close cooperation with product management and IT teams
- Continuous identification of improvement opportunities from the user's point of view
- Help your team to strengthen quality awareness and actively contribute to the optimization of the existing QA process
Your qualification
- Professional experience in quality assurance of software projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the concepts of object- oriented programming (e.g. using JAVA)
- Experience with test automation for web applications (e.g. JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, Selenide) and API test automation using Rest-Assured; mobile automation using tools like Appium is a plus
- You have a high level of awareness, logical thinking, constant willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and like to work in a team
- You have very good spoken and written knowledge of English, German is a plus
