Our digital medical products are designed to be used by patients to accompany them throughout the healing and recovery process, and to ensure they have reliable medical care. Our digital prevention products are designed to ensure that certain diseases do not have the opportunity to develop.

Position

As Backend Software Engineer at Temedica you are part of an agile product development team working on apps within the medical industry. Your focus is on building secure, solid and performant backend services for our digital health companions.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the backend of our digital health companion apps
• Design, develop and deploy services that scale, are highly available, reliable and easy to maintain and extend
• Work closely together with mobile engineers in your team to build an outstanding UX for our customers
• Be a partner for the platform teams in order to develop and improve our infrastructure and shared services

Your qualification

• 4+ years of experience in modern software development
• Experience with modern software systems design - with a focus on service oriented architectures
• Experience with a modern programming language like Ruby, JavaScript, Java and/or Python
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Rails, Django, express and/or Spring Boot
• Experience with cloud based infrastructure such as AWS or GCP is a plus
• Experience with Docker and K8S is a plus
• Enjoy working in agile teams and value collaboration
• Excited about getting in touch with new technologies
