Position

About Company

• The company is a hospitality startup that combines the quality standard of a hotel with the coziness and comfort of an apartment
• The company automates all conventional processes of hotel business from pricing, booking, check-in, cleaning, customer service to invoicing

Duties

• You will work closely with our VP of Product and product managers to translate business requirements into architecture and technologies and you ensure that the team delivers high-quality solutions to meet our OKR key deliverables 
• You will drive the strategy, goals, and team structure together with our Head of Engineering to make sure the team achieves its goals
• You will lead and grow a high-performance team consisting mainly of Backend Engineers working with AWS systems (Serverless, Lambda, Python), ensuring they are developed, mentored, and challenged, acting as an advocate for them within the organization

Your qualification

• You have a degree in software engineering or a similar field
• You have a solid background in software engineering along with more than 2 years of leadership experience
• You have built and managed engineering teams 
• You love developing and growing people, helping them reach their full potential, and inspiring excellence and innovation in others while staying in close contact with your engineering self
