Position

As a Principal Software/Solution Architect, you are a cornerstone in crafting the technological future of AI-powered imaging. You lead the charge in merging cutting-edge AI with groundbreaking MRI technology, creating solutions that transcend today's standards for sustainable food production and enhanced operational efficiency. Your vision and expertise will guide the software architectural strategy, propelling our mission to harness AI-powered imaging for a sustainable future.

Your day to day

• Lead the architectural design, development, and evolution of our software and solutions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and real-time data processing

• Guide the course for Orbem's technological evolution, facilitating strategic decisions that align with Orbem's vision and market needs

• Keep a pulse on emerging technologies and industry trends and standards, leveraging your insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain Orbem’s competitive edge

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, MRI and data science teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation, coaching and guiding both junior and senior team members in adopting best practices and exploring new technological frontiers

Your qualification

• Proven cross-functional leadership skills for developing technology solutions

• Leading enterprise transformations from monolithic to scalable architectures and/or from a start-up to a scale-up phase

• Skilled in leading integration projects that merge software, hardware, and AI technologies

• Proven expertise in integrating European Regulation Standards, such as GDPR, into software solutions, ensuring compliance and data protection

• Experienced with IoT platforms, edge computing, and cloud services for comprehensive device and data management

• Adept at transforming complex requirements into structured, sustainable solutions with a practical and strategic approach to software engineering

• Agile and intuitive, capable of identifying lasting innovations, driving Orbem towards impactful success

• An engaged, collaborative team leader with practical communication skills

• Strong background in domain-driven design, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and data management platforms
