The Design team is part of the Tech department at Holidu / Bookiply alongside the Product and Engineering teams. Currently, we are a family of 6 multi-disciplinary designers working together to design and deliver best-in-class products & services to our customers.

Your role in this journey

As a Senior UX Designer, you will join our multi-disciplinary development team to take over and be responsible for a part of our core product, the Holidu website. Within our team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Conduct user research to discover new product improvement opportunities
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces that lead to an intuitive user experience ranging from small feature iterations to larger, complex ones
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to efficiently implement a cohesive, inclusive and well-informed user experience
• Provide high-quality user interfaces and hand them off to developers
• Communicate clearly and efficiently to explain your thought process and methodology
• Actively participate in the growth of the Design Team by giving and receiving constructive feedback and improving the work processes
• Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain and contribute to our design system to provide a consistent experience to our users across our product ecosystem
• Be up to date with new design trends and industry standards

Your qualification

• 5+ years of experience working as a UX designer, product designer or a similar role, ideally for consumer-facing web and mobile products
• A Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, a related field or equivalent industry experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates your experience with digital products
• Excellent understanding of visual design principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proactive mindset, ready to take ownership of delivering outstanding experience and visual designs
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative data and profound analytical skills
• Empathy, curiosity and eagerness to explore innovative ideas that may go beyond obvious solutions
• Hands-on experience with digital design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Zeplin, Prototyping tools (e.g. Framer, InVision, Flinto)
• Fluent English, any additional language a plus
