Position

As part of our Development Team situated in Hamburg office, you are driving the visual identity of our products. You develop concepts as a team member of agile development teams for our cloud-based online shops, working closely alongside experienced colleagues. Based on your extensive knowledge, you create solutions to improve our software.
You create the visual appearance of our products, closely working with other design roles in the company. Your task includes the creation of working prototypes, designing and implementing the approved mock-ups from UX and further improving its performance and usability. You will be part of a wider team, consisting of designers, software engineers, web developers and product managers; all working towards enhancing our complex and growing web application.

Your qualification

You have awesome UI design skills, being capable of designing modern, easy to use user interfaces
You love to think about mobile and web usability and you like to create user interfaces with Sketch
You have experience designing and developing responsive websites (HTML, CSS, and LESS)
Semantics, usability and web standards are tools of your craft
You are open-minded to new technologies
You are a self-driven and goal orientated person, analytically minded and well structured

Will be a plus

Tools like version control (Git) and command line do not scare you
