Position
Our Business Intelligence & Customer Relationship Management Teamis providing personalized & intelligent recommendations, product sorting as well as mailing- and push notifications to our customers, based on their historical consuming behaviour. We work with over 5 million real-time API calls per hour and a huge amount of data to provide the best shopping experience for our customers!
Join our Business Intelligence and CRM Team and successfully contribute to the upcoming challenges as an experienced and passionate DevOps Engineer.
Challenges the team will be working on:
Building a transparent, scalable & developer friendly platform for machine learning applications
Unifying logging, alerting & metric dashboards across services
Ensuring smooth operations of scalable high performance APIs
What you will do
- Take over responsibility for the availability and a smooth operation of our entire BI & CRM infrastructure as well as the stacks
- Ensure availability, performance, scalability and security of our reliable and scalable infrastructure
- Supervise and monitor our production infrastructure
- Improve the creation, deployment and monitoring of our operations for multiple cloud clients
- Drive the use of practices like continuous integration, continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
- Ensure the scalability of our product by automating and standardizing the processes
- Manage the resources and services in cost-efficient manner
Your qualification
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Profound knowledge using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc)
- Practical experience using different kind of monitoring tools (e.g. Sentry, NewRelic, Kibana, Datadog)
- Familiar with image & container build and continuous integration tools & processes, preferably with Bamboo and gitlab
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoys working in a team as well as developing new ideas
- Strong scripting and automation skills
- Extraordinary analytical and problem solving skills
- Enthusiastic about software engineering
- Very good written and spoken English skills
