Position

The mission of the Discovery Innovation Lab is to explore and validate ideas that are not part of our typical product roadmap.We bring together experts from the fields of digital product management, user research, engineering, and the real estate business in the lab, to work as a small team away from the daily operational processes, to quickly filter new ideas, identifying new business opportunities and possible digital product solutions. Our aim is to multiply our learnings through our prototypes and research experiments and to turn these learnings into validated new digital product ideas that can be further developed within our group.

We are looking for a talented UX Researcher to work closely with our Product Designer and Product Manager in the innovation lab to integrate user-centric processes and guide digital product design practices. You will inspire change by delivering data-driven research insights and help the innovation lab team understand what makes a user’s experience feel more intuitive.

More responsibilities in detail:

• Hands on planning and execution of primary user research, to understand customer behaviors, pain points, needs and aspirations
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to build a deep understanding of the real estate industry and competitors in the market
• Analyze research results and develop actionable insight, bring your research results to life through personas, customer journeys, insight opportunity frameworks, stories, scenarios, info-graphics, and service models
• Design and facilitate internal workshops and external workshops
• You also contribute actively to the development of our UX research framework and methodology and act as the voice for raising awareness on user topics and strengthening quantitative and qualitative research methods throughout the group
• Lead design workshops, Design Sprints, Research Sprints, and Design Thinking
• Build rapid prototypes or wire frames to facilitate the validation of major assumptions, hypothesis and align the team on the key aspects of the solution

Your qualification

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in a UX Research role, a strong research methodology backround and your track record consists of multiple shipped B2C and B2B products
• Mindset: You know when to do what - and why & you identify the key research questions, choose the best method, spot the right people to interview, lead interviews and play a key role in synthesizing and communicating insights
• Skill Set: You shape the research agenda; you plan and execute a wide variety of studies independently - interviews, tests, surveys, workshops, etc. -across the entire product lifecycle & you are constantly on the quest to validate your findings through actual user feedback
• Qualification: You are fluent in English and German
