Position

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Data Analyst to join our growing Data Analytics team, based in Berlin. Our team provides support across all the teams like Product, Sales and Operations by developing insights and enabling analytical and automated decision making. We build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and work on challenges such as defining, implementing and tracking company-wide metrics, and leading initiatives to improve them.

As a (Senior) Data Analyst at Zenjob, you will

• Transform all of our business requirements into innovative data solutions, which effectively support our business
• Support requests from stakeholders to create new data analyses based on defined specifications
• Help the company to create more data-driven solutions and decisions
• Support with performance and optimization potential and analyze large datasets to build conclusions
• Work with data engineers to convert high-quality and qualified business requirements into technical requirements
• Conduct detailed data analysis on data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create a new feature

Your qualification

• 3+ years of relevant experience interpreting data as an analyst or equivalent
• High proficiency in querying and modelling data using SQL for creating self-service data extracts
• Extensive experience using different data visualization and reporting tools. Focus on Tableau is a plus
• Ability to translate a business question into an analytical requirement considering its context: what the business is trying to achieve, the processes around it, the systems that interact and the data points available
• Analyze the results of A/B-test experiments and derive conclusions or new hypothesis the business can follow up on
• Great communication skills in stakeholder management from diverse backgrounds
• Great communication skills in storytelling capable of creating a consistent narrative that gives meaning to the numbers

Will be a plus

• Experience working in marketplaces
• Experience using Product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude
• Experience designing A/B tests
