Position

Senior Full Stack Engineer - Zalando Premium Logistics in Berlin will join a new team within our company which task is building and optimising our premium delivery proposition to bring the right package to the right customers at same day speed. You will have a direct impact on customer happiness by delivering a high-performance, stable, auto-scaling platform that allows to communicate via APIs, web-portal and apps.

Responsibilities:

• Accelerate the onboarding of new technologies and solution designs by driving proofs of concept, pilots and technology evaluations
• Manage your service from the architecture to testing, deployment and operation in an agile environment
• Work with your development and product teams to deliver high-performance, resilient and scalable distributed system landscape that handles large amounts of data while continuously enabling a high pace of change and innovation
• Contribute to our growing tech community and encourage knowledge sharing

Your qualification

• 8+ years of professional programming experience with significant expertise in Java and related frameworks like NodeJS, Angular as well as Spring Boot and PostgreSQL. More information on the technologies we use can be found on our Tech Radar
• Academic degree in Computer Science
• Experienced in automated testing, high-performance code and complex server environments
• Great communication skills in English and ability to understand business requirements
