What’s our engineering development challenge?

Companies have a wealth of data trapped behind legacy APIs. These often have overly complex, inconsistent, or hard to parse data structures, which need to be queried using outdated standards. It’s our job to fix that – data transformation is key. Meanwhile real-time events streams are making IoT

information accessible and scalable across millions of actors. Our solution is currently used by companies in the automotive and manufacturing space, but that is just the beginning.

 While our team is split between San Francisco and Berlin, you will be part of the team in Germany! 

What you’ll do:

● Work as part of a cross-functional team on solving problems our customers are facing around data integration

● Ideate, design, develop, and launch efficient & reliable features for our core product

● Take the lead on key engineering tasks around our core components

● Operate and improve our cloud infrastructure

● Help make Xapix a scalable cloud solution and open source components of it

● Help improve how we build and operate as a team

Who you are:

● Very familiar with either Ruby or Clojure

● Passion for technical depth and breadth

● Self-driven and compassionate for our users

● Experience developing and operating systems with high availability requirements

● Don’t mind a complex tech stack comprised of Vue, RoR, Clojure, Kafka, Flink, Kubernetes

● Enjoy learning new technologies
