Position
As Product Designer (UX/UI) (m/f/d) at ToolTime you will build and scale with us the most innovative software solution, that will not only help home service businesses to cope with their office work in the easiest and most efficient way possible but set them up for future growth and success.
Responsibilities
- You will be one of the companies’ first design hires, working closely with the design leadership
- While excelling in hands-on design work, you simultaneously engage in driving the build-up of overall product design activities and processes and become a design thought leader
- Based on your strong UX skills you know how to drive user research forward and which strategy to deploy to uncover and collect insights and translate them into product goals and feature ideas
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes
- Develop innovative and engaging UI components while collaborating with engineering and product for implementation
- Creating and maintaining state-of-the-art design systems as well as the introduction of thoughtful and consistent design patterns
- Developing product concepts together with Product Management, Engineering and Customer Success
- Draw insights from product analytics and derive ideas for UX/UI improvements
- Driving design matters proactively, being always up to date about the latest design tools, methods, processes, and trends and actively engage in the design team, the company and even beyond
Main requirements

2+ years experience building digital products in close collaboration with developers and product managers

Experience developing, testing, and refining concepts based on research, insights, and brand vision

Ability to narrow down complex requirements into simple, clear and elegant design solutions

Experience in creating innovative user interface designs, enabling delightful and meaningful user experiences

Deep knowledge of current design tools (e.g. sketch, abstract, zeplin,...), responsive web design and mobile apps

Work experience in agile product team setups and short product iteration cycles

Willingness to roll-up your sleeves to bring design solutions to life

Strong interpersonal and teaming skills, passion, empathy and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams

Strong communication with very good German and English skills, in order to clearly explain design decisions and processes to stakeholders
