Position
What we do: We are the second-largest furniture retailer in Europe. With us, you will operate highly complex eCommerce platforms across multiple European markets to drive our online presence further. You will join 100 IT colleagues hailing from more than 20 nations in our newly opened, spacious Berlin office, which oversees our entire IT operations for all of Europe.
What you will do:
We are extending our development team by a Software Testing & QA Unit to act as a link between Product Management and Implementation, helping both to increase velocity and quality of requirements and implementation. You are both familiar with defining test cases based on business requirements and test automation. This includes:
- Assuring the quality of our shops and e-commerce systems
- Supporting the Product Owners by completing implementation tickets with acceptance criteria and test cases
- Identifying dependencies and supporting sprint planning
- Overviewing and increasing the coverage of automated tests
- Implementing UI tests
- Release Management and Deployment Coordination
- Improving our Integration and Test Process
Main requirements
- At least 5 years of Software Testing in agile teams
- Excellent knowledge of continuous integration and test-driven development
- Excellent skills with Selenium or related test frameworks (min. 3 yrs)
- Excellent knowledge of both SQL Databases (MySQL) as well as NoSQL DBs (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Good knowledge of GIT
- Working knowledge of tools like Gulp, npm, Jenkins
- Working knowledge of Docker, NGINX
Nice to have
- German language skills are a plus
- Groovy/Java in addition to JavaScript is a plus
- Additional programming languages
- Infrastructure knowledge including REST APIs
