Position
- You analyze our data and prototype demand forecasting and customer behavior models
- You use statistical models to answer real-life questions like
- You answer questions such as “How many people will travel from Berlin to Munich during Octoberfest?”, “What are the effects of price changes?”, “What will be the new trending vacation destinations next summer?”
- You work closely with yield management, business intelligence and backend development teams on solutions for data-driven decision making
- You solve our complex business challenges with creative insights
Your qualification
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Hands-on experience with various machine learning algorithms, statistics, algorithm design and complexity
- Fluency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Scala, etc)
- Data visualisation skills (Seaborn, Bokeh, D3, etc)
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, Big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, etc)
- Very strong communication and presentation skills
- High level of business acumen and value first thinking
