Position

As Software Engineer - Python at Delivery Hero, you will:

• Design, complete, integrate and keep up new backend services and APIs 
• Improve actual backend services
• Grow and broaden your expertise in Delivery Hero's technology stack

Your qualification

At Delivery Hero, you:

• will be working in a team
• find pair programming convenient 
• are skilled in Python 2+3
• have experience in medium and large projects
• know Django, PostgreSQL, Celery, Docker and memcached
• can building asynchronous web services
• have experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• can easily deliver clean and well-documented code
• believe in testing, iterating, constantly learning, failing fast and agile practices
• know and can communicate in English
• develop and deploy applications into cloud services especially AWS

Will be a plus

• Experience administering Linux systems and interest in container-based architectures
• You know how to design and optimize scalable systems
• Monitoring/Alerting/Logging tools (Grafana, NewRelic, Icinga, Splunk…)
