Position

Delivery Hero is looking for a Senior React Frontend Engineer (UX) to join their Logistics team to help creating a fast, reliable and transparent delivery experience. You will be developing services and algorithms that connect riders and vendors to millions of customers everyday.

Responsibilities

• Build up a design system together with your design team peers
• Identify interaction patterns across the products and build reusable components and frontend libraries for React, Angular and Android front ends 
• Provide technical frontend leadership and participate in architecture decisions
• Spread your knowledge about semantic, high-performance HTML and CSS to our Front-end Engineers 
• Be responsible for consistency, usability and accessibility of our product interfaces
• Work closely with product designers and product managers on scalable front end solutions and abstract new components for the design system from it
• Collaborate with and actively contribute to the Design chapter

Your qualification

• 5+ years of experience in developing and delivering solutions using front-end technologies
• Minimum a BA in computer science, engineering or a BA in a UX-related field (Human-computer interaction, Human factors, Behavioral research, Graphic Design) or equivalent practical experience
• Superb knowledge of at least one advanced JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or ReactJS and its core principles 
• Familiarity with modern front end build pipelines and tools, e.g. Docker and Kubernetes
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking
• Demonstrate clear excellence in either interaction design or visual design, and solid skills in the other 
• Ability to work in a group and independently 
• Operational experience in prioritization and time-management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
