Position

We are looking for a (Senior) Frontend Engineer(f/m/d)to join our Global Contact Center Tech team and to contribute to the creation of Delivery Hero’s new Automation & Support Platform.

As Delivery Hero grows, addressing our customer’s, rider’s, or restaurant’s support issues quickly and with as little friction as possible is crucial to our ability to create an amazing experience for our users.

In order to achieve this goal, we are building our own Automation & Support Platform to manage in-app support, self-service flows, transactional communication, automation of business processes, and other technologies that make ticket resolution more seamless: from the moment a user enters the customer support in the app, to making sure we have sufficient customer service agents available to solve the problem in a fast matter, and anything in between.

What’s on the menu?

• Contributing to designing and building applications that will transform the ordering experience of our global customer base as well as the lives of thousands of agents working in contact centers around the world.
• Taking part in improving and scaling a microservice architecture using API/event-based communication.
• Practicing modern software development methodologies such as Continuous Delivery, TDD and Scrum.
• Be an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for our stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional and international agile teams
• Working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
• Building products used millions of customers globally

Your qualification

• Practical experience as Frontend Developer: vanilla JavaScript, Typescript, CSS/HTML…
• Expertise with ReactJS or Angular or VueJs
• Experience with unit/functional testing, SPA development and toolkit such as gulp or webpack
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent education or practical experience
• Passion for clean and beautiful code with an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
• Practical experience with Design Patterns, Design Principles, Software Architecture and Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional)
• Ability to get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly
• Keen to constantly learn and improve your own skills, and not afraid to jump into new things
• Curiosity, creative outside-the-box problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
