Position

At Capmo, we are seeking a Tech Lead Android to join our innovative team. As a Tech Lead Android, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction technology. Whether you choose to work from our engineering hubs in Berlin or Munich or prefer the flexibility of remote work, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of simplifying complex construction processes.

THESE CHALLENGES ARE AWAITING YOU

• Lead Android Development: You will lead and contribute to the development of major features for our Android application. Your expertise will be critical in delivering a robust and user-friendly native Android app that enhances customer satisfaction.

• Design for Offline-First Environments: In the construction industry, workers often operate offline. You'll take on the unique challenge of designing mobile systems that operate seamlessly in such environments, ensuring uninterrupted productivity and smooth functionality.

• Modern CI/CD for Android: Collaborate closely with our team to ensure efficient delivery of our app by leveraging the latest tools and practices in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) for Android.

• Autonomy and Ownership: We trust our Tech Lead Android to take ownership of their work. You'll have the autonomy to make critical decisions, drive projects forward, and take pride in your work. Your ideas and opinions will be highly valued, and you'll have the freedom to bring them to life.

Your qualification

• 8+ Years Android Experience: Extensive background in Android development (7+ years), with a focus on Kotlin and Android Jetpack (2+ years)

• GraphQL Proficiency: Professional experience working with GraphQL APIs

• Reactive Programming: Familiarity with reactive programming, such as Combine or RxSwift, is a plus

• Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated leadership through coaching and mentoring team members, along with workload coordination and task prioritization

• Technical Documentation Skills: Ability to produce and promote high-quality technical design documentation
