Position

• Elaboration of parallel calculations regarding ressource management and performance optimisation
• Managing calculations executed on machine clusters with multiple terabytes of RAM 
• Manipulating data volume that would put pressure on traditional calculation methods
• Being part of an international team and managing the migration of an entire back-end data and application architecture towards big data technologies (the app relies on Java 8 and uses latest technologies from Hortonworks Hadoop and Spark)
• Take part in the development of a credit risk calculator in the context of european Basel III regulations.

  • Assist end users to ensure continuity of service

Your qualification

• 1+ year exeprience
• You are interested in finance
• Cassandra
• ElasticSearch
• Hadoop
• HDFS
• Java or C# or Python
• Kibana
• MongoDB
• Spark
• Skills in Java, modeling abilities, and a strong appetite for data
• Very familiar with clusters and parallel calculations
• Hunter for new technology and you scan GitHub in search of hidden treasures
• French beginner level (you can communicate a bit and present the last movie you saw in French)

Will be a plus

Ability to manage, process and analyze incredible masses of data in real time

Peer validation. Following the first formal interview, you will meet one of our consultants for a second encounter. This allows for evaluation of your technical skills and further presentation of the Novencia ecosystem.
