The data team has 3 missions:

- Fight against frauders (spammers, phishers, payment abuse) to protect our users

- Help our clients to leverage their data with AI

- Make the data accessible to everyone at Brevo to help them to make the right decisions

Position

As Senior Data Scientist, you will:

Our technical stack: Python, Airflow/Composer, dbt, GCP (Cloud function, BigQuery, GCS, BigTable), MongoDB, Metabase, ZenML, Neo4j, Kubernetes

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop analytical strategies for practical solutions
• Conduct comprehensive data exploration, auditing, and cleaning to ensure dataset reliability and integrity
• Design and implement new platform features using innovative solutions and rapid iteration methods to solve complex issues
• Oversee data science projects, including post-deployment monitoring and maintenance for ongoing efficiency
• Contribute to developing and executing data quality strategies to maintain high standards across our data ecosystem
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose strategic initiatives for project integration
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure successful project execution
• Lead the implementation of new machine learning and AI algorithms, coordinating with teams for seamless deployment
• Foster collaboration across teams to align objectives and facilitate communication

Your qualification

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering
• 4/5+ years of experience in Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, or MLOps Engineering roles
• Proficient in Python for statistical analysis, visualization, and modeling
• Experienced in deploying and maintaining ML/DL models in production environments
• Skilled in SQL, NoSQL databases, or cloud platforms
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to translate business questions into technical specifications
• Fluent in English, with multicultural work experience; proficiency in another language is advantageous
