Position

Data Scientist - Machine Learning within Engineering will be integrated into our Science team working with Scrum/Agile methodologies in collaboration with other R&D teams. This team brings together experienced people who work on all aspects of optimizing the company.

Responsibilities:

• Define evaluation criteria and then study different open source machine learning solutions that refer to our problems
• Prototype solutions that propose the best offer to present to a user, according to his profile and his intention to purchase based on the selected machine learning solution
• Arrange software layers allowing the aggregation and the automatic analysis of a large number of data in particular on our grid of computation
• Ensure the development and maintenance of software aggregating and data analysing
• Stay informed of the state of the art in the areas of research related to our activity

Your qualification

Engineer with a successful experience as a data scientist or doctoral student or postdoctoral student in computer / machine learning, you have acquired a mastery of computer programming (in Java and / or Scala) applied to data and mathematics in a Big Data universe.

The ideal profile will present:

• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning principles and technologies
• A pronounced taste for technology watch
• Knowledge of Linux
• Mastery of software architecture and Big Data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies: Extreme Programming / Scrum

• Knowledge of the Scala programming language
