About Shiro Games

Shiro Games is an Independent video game developer located in the heart of Bordeaux. Our first game Evoland was released in 2013, the acclaimed sequel Evoland 2: A slight case of Spacetime continuum disorder followed soon after in 2015. Popular Viking RTS Northgard entered early access in 2017 with full release following in March 2018. At Gamescom 2018 we announced our new project, Darksburg.

Position

Shiro Games is looking for a QA Tester to join development team on an unannounced title. We welcome passionate applicants with unique skillsets, experience levels and backgrounds, who will help make Shiro Games an even better studio!

You will work directly as part of the development team as the main tester on the project, to ensure the game meets the quality expectations of our players.

What you will do

• Discuss, playtest, and help with the balancing of new features
• Work with the GD team on the overall balancing and difficulty level
• Help programmers identify and reproduce bugs
• Review, filter, summarize feedback from the community to identity important bug fixes or feature requests
• Coordinate beta testing together with the community management team
• Help with the compilation of patch notes before release

Your qualification

• Interest in game design, willing to dive deep into the intricate details of a complex game
• Good technical communication skills in English (French a plus)
• A sincere passion for games (Strategy games a plus)
• Willing to relocate to Bordeaux, France
