About Shiro Games

Shiro Games is an Independent video game developer located in the heart of Bordeaux. Our first game Evoland was released in 2013, the acclaimed sequel Evoland 2: A slight case of Spacetime continuum disorder followed soon after in 2015. Popular Viking RTS Northgard entered early access in 2017 with full release following in March 2018. At Gamescom 2018 we announced our new project, Darksburg.

Position

Shiro Games is the creator of Evoland, Darksburg and the multimillion seller Northgard. We create games that have a personal touch, with small development teams. We work fast, but we never crunch.
We are looking for a multi-skilled and experienced 2D Artist to join our growing team of passionate developers on an unannounced project.

What you will do

• Create high quality concept art that can include gameplay shots, characters, objects, architecture and environments, user interface etc. in a range of art styles
• Create high quality stylized illustrations
• Bring creativity while respecting the established Art Direction
• Work quickly, coherently and closely within smaller development teams

Your qualification

• Game industry experience
• A passion for gaming
• A varied portfolio showing different styles and techniques
• Team-oriented but self-motivated
• Contribution of ideas toward various aspects of the game’s production and development is a plus

• Based in Bordeaux, in a very cool neighborhood near many restaurants, pubs, etc…
• Help during relocation process (fees, research)
