Position
UpCloud’s Product Owners make sure our products are well built, maintained and delivered on time to reach the company’s business goals. We are proud of doing things our own way instead of following the crowds - and so should you! As a Product Owner, you will have the opportunity - and the responsibility - to deliver world-class services to our customers. We think you'll enjoy this role if you have a great sense of ownership - the possibilities of seeing the results of your work are quite dramatic, for the good and for the worse. It'll be your job to turn ideas into working products that customers will love.
Your qualification
- Solid experience in product management
- Experience in iterative development with frequent deliveries and a close feedback loop with the users
- Business understanding: no stranger to targets, deadlines and KPIs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills when working with customers, engineers, business and tech people alike
- Previous knowledge of the cloud industry and a vision of where it’s heading
- Good understanding of overall concepts and solutions in IaaS services: virtual machines, hypervisors, block storage and networking
You will be managing the backlog of our IaaS team’s domains, including our core product the Cloud Server, associated block storage products (including our crown jewel MaxIOPS), and our networking products.
You will work closely with seasoned engineers dedicated to this domain, as well as a Team Coach and Technical Architects. You will also work directly with the Head of Product, with whom you will put our product vision into practice.
