Position

Futureplay is now on the lookout for an Illustrator - Marketing Art with a focus on illustration and graphic design to join our team and help us take our marketing art to the next level.

On a day-to-day basis you will be working closely with marketing and game teams to take initiative and ownership of marketing content creation in line with game development timelines. You’ll produce static assets and marketing art compositions that will be used across social media, user acquisition, app stores and also in-game. You will also be working quickly to repurpose content in order to efficiently deliver across multiple platforms, and you’ll be taking ownership in defining a strong IP, consistent brand and clear vision throughout your work. Existing skills in video production and editing are a bonus, but as a minimum you should have a willingness to learn and grow in this area.

Your qualification

We expect a minimum of 2 years of experience in creating marketing art, ideally in the gaming industry. You’ll have a track record of producing proven quality when it comes to all things illustration and graphic design, and you’re ready to apply your expertise and creativity to the production of a wide range of standout content across different media. Though you’re a creative at heart, you’re interested in seeing how your work impacts product and business growth. You enjoy working as part of a team, but have a proactive approach with a hunger to take responsibility on an individual level.

Previous experience in, or understanding what it takes to, work in a minimum hierarchy environment and the ability to independently manage your tasks and responsibilities are a must. Having an agile mindset and love for experimentation are needed. You should also have great team working skills combined with the ability to provide and receive candid feedback.
