Position

Viveo is looking for a mid/senior level backend developer with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our worldwide team from the Tallinn office. As a developer you will be part of the scrum team, you will focus team effort on implementing product vision and delivering business value via code and systems growth.

Together with other stakeholders you will solve issues and implement new business opportunities and help to create new innovative healthcare solutions the world needs. This position is for someone who loves to wear many hats, is passionate about technology and building products users love.

Job responsibilities

• Designing and building Viveo’s growing backend systems
• Coding mostly in JavaScript, Node.js and TypeScript
• Own the backend business logic and take good care of the data
• Improve and refactor our platform to keep it perform ant and scalable
• Proactively fixing upcoming bugs and solving technical challenges
• Contributing ideas to our product development roadmap
• Collaborate with our frontend developers to design and build APIs

Your qualification

• 4+ years of experience in back-end development
• Writing clean, well designed, testable, efficient code
• Strong knowledge / 3+ years hands-on experience in Typescript, NestJS / Node.js
• Experience with any SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• Good English and communication skills
