Position

Phillips-Medisize is looking for an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer who wants to be part of developing safe and reliable medical devices, helping patients to better treatment. Are you ready to use your technical expertise within software testing to ensure testability and effective test execution? 

You will be securing software requirement testability in our development projects and deliver high quality test cases to verify software functionality. You participate as working partner in the projects’ development of software solutions, coordinate test activities and execute them efficiently and in close cooperation with the software engineers. You will also be guiding the software engineers to lift the general knowledge of good test practices. Together with the software competency lead you contribute to improvement of our software development process and test methods: increasing the test automation, optimizing manual test procedures and reuse of test cases over multiple projects.

Your qualification

• Master or Bachelor’s degree in software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in software development and testing, preferably from a highly regulated industry like medical devices (IEC 62304) or aeronautics
• Strong knowledge about general software test principles, methods and programs (C++, C sharp, Python etc.), scrum and state of the art tools for configuration management, code review and build servers is expected 
• You are analytical, result oriented and a team player
• You thrive by solving complex problems and understand the importance of well-structured documentation
• Fluency in English speaking and writing
