We want to make everyone laugh.
In 2019 we released WHAT THE GOLF? (the award-winning comedy anti-golf game for people who hate golf) and since then, things have been really bonkers in a good way. Up until early 2020, we were just a few people in a dark basement. Now, we’re 20 people in nice offices by the lakes in Copenhagen, working on new and exciting projects.
In the coming years, we’ll be working on the ✨Next Big Things™✨ in comedy games. And we’d love it if you’d want to join us.
Position
Triband is looking for a Platform Programmer who will build and maintain the layer between the platform and the game and work in close collaboration with the development teams across all our projects - new and old.
- Maintain existing platform code in WHAT THE GOLF? Such as Apple Arcade, Steam, Epic, Switch and more
- Build and maintain the platform abstraction layer for leaderboards, saving, loading, achievements, input, and more
- Know the limitations of target platforms and help optimize code and memory
- Keep an eye on new platform features and identify things we should use
- Coming up with and implementing your own ideas, solutions and wacky things
Your qualification
- Proficiency in C# and programming in Unity
- Knowledge of ObjC or Swift for integrating with Apple platforms
- Experience with git or similar version control with branching, tags, etc
- Experience of working with various platforms, consoles, mobile, etc.
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
We are looking for at least 2+ years of game dev experience, but are generally looking for people who are not like us and who will challenge us and our way of doing things!
