About Triband

This vacancy is provided by Copenhagen Capacity.

We want to make everyone laugh.

In 2019 we released WHAT THE GOLF? (the award-winning comedy anti-golf game for people who hate golf) and since then, things have been really bonkers in a good way. Up until early 2020, we were just a few people in a dark basement. Now, we’re 20 people in nice offices by the lakes in Copenhagen, working on new and exciting projects.

In the coming years, we’ll be working on the ✨Next Big Things™✨ in comedy games. And we’d love it if you’d want to join us.

Position

Triband is looking for an Editor Programmer who will be a part of the team behind our unannounced new game. You will take lead on building a Level Editor for our community - in close collaboration with the other designers, programmers and artists who will work on different parts of the game. While the end target of the Editor is the players, It will be tightly connected to our internal level designer tools.

You will be the main person behind this feature, but you will not be building everything alone.

As with anyone at our studio, you will have a main area of responsibility (this), but you can also work on other things. Maybe you are interested in playing with physics, making systems or gameplay. We encourage people to learn new things and just help each other out across projects and teams.

  • Build a fantastic and fun level editor that allows everyone to be creative!
  • Work closely with designers and UI people to design and structure the level editor and with other programmers to integrate it with other systems and gameplay
  • Define and create interface to backend and other services
  • Make sure that the level editor is not only great, but also fun. It’s a comedy game
  • Explore ideas and come up with new smart ideas

Your qualification

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • A passion for making juicy tools
  • Proficiency in C# and programming in Unity
  • Knowledge of data structures, serialisation and working with a backend
  • Knows how to construct a mesh and which way to flip polygons
  • Experience with git or similar version control with branching, tags, etc

What we offer

  • 37 hours of work per week
  • A pretty chill working environment
  • A non-competitive environment where failure is part of the success
  • You get to be part of shaping new projects and the studio
  • Lunch included (also vegetarian/vegan options)
  • Quite silly projects
  • Very nice colleagues
  • Paid parental leave
  • Competitive salary fitting qualifications
