We are currently recruiting a new team for the LEGO account product in digital identity and authentication subdomain.

Core Responsibilities:

LEGO Account is not only serving a great number of consumer and shopper facing experiences – just name a few – LEGO.com, LEGO Building Instructions, LEGO Life, LEGO IDEAS, but also our external partners and vendors. It is the absolute cornerstone of the LEGO connected ecosystem.

• As a senior backend developer, you will help us transform the current architecture to a new target architecture by driving technical design and implementation
• Our current identity management tech stack is based on .NET, Duende IdentityServer and Amazon Web Services, you will be actively developing backend features, configuring and maintaining our robust and scalable solution by applying a “you build it – you run it” philosophy
• Great engineering practice is expected in the defined quality standards for product, architecture characteristics, codebase, documentations and APIs 
• Security is one of the essential elements in this product. You will take on security related operations to keep the lights on for this business-critical application
• In our mind, test-driven development and test automation shall be in every developer’s daily practice, and it is also your job to continuous integrate and continuous deploy
• As we are handling personal identifiable information, you shall be familiar with privacy and legal compliance requirements and best practices

At consumer platform technologies, which is the department you will be located, we evolve modern agile development methodologies through a pragmatic and outcome driven mindset. We have strong belief in empowered and autonomous teams. Your ability to lead does not rely on the title, but rather your strong passion and capability in engineering practice as well as being mindful of others.

Your qualification

• 5+ years of experience in back-end software development using C#/.NET or other high-level programming languages 
• Experience with Duende IdentityServer, OAuth and OIDC
• Experience with security in web-based solutions
• Experience with operating high-performance serverless solutions in the cloud, preferably on AWS
• Experience with databases, both relational databases, and NoSQL

In addition, it would be preferred if you have:

• Solid experience of architecting on Amazon Web Services
• Can bring security best practice to the team
• Practicing on Domain-Driven Design tactical implementation
• Bachelor or master’s degree within Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar or solid experience from similar position
