Group IT supports the entire GN Group, including our 3 subsidiaries, GN Store Nord, GN Audio and GN Hearing, and we are dedicated to managing and developing our IT system landscape that supports the entire organization in doing what it does best: leading major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions to make life sound better.
In Ballerup, you will join a team of 16 in Digital & Commercial Services, counting our solution architects, developers, business analysts, solution manager, system administrators, our Scrum master and test managers as well as colleagues in both the US and Philippines. Together, we develop high quality, user-friendly partner portals, CRM, web and e-commerce solutions for our customers, internal sales, and marketing departments.
Responsibilities
Drive front-end development
As our front-end developer, you will define and secure the implementation of our website solutions, and your key task is to define how we build and set the right framework for the front-end tasks in Sitecore. This entails securing and driving an efficient development process in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization, especially Sales, Marketing and R&D, to secure the best user-centric solutions.
Ensuring alignment with our overall portfolio strategy as well as market insights, you will:
- Be part of driving the commercial development of our platforms, portals, e-commerce solutions, etc. with customized functions and features
- Deliver great solutions according to our road map
- Manage both solution maintenance, supporting the individual sites, and ongoing development projects

Your qualification
Versatile developer with great technical skills
As you have sound knowledge of Sitecore front-end development processes, systems, frameworks, and languages, you easily adapt to your next project. Furthermore, you speak and write English effortlessly, enabling you to join an international organization.
- You have a commercial or technical degree at a bachelor’s or master’s level
- You have 2+ years of experience with front-end and a strong understanding of UX principles and mobile application software
- You have experience with most of or all the following: JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, AngularJS, unit testing, SOLID design principles, Git and Lodash on top of an ASP.NET environment with Web Forms, MVC and Web API
As a person
You are team oriented and like to contribute and co-operate with a team, Curious towards new technology, frameworks, etc. and have a desire to learn and are passionate about the digital space.
You like to deliver results and to take ownership of your solutions with a good eye towards details and high-quality work done within the time agreed.
Will be a plus
Furthermore, experience with Sitecore’s Helix design principles, Unicorn, Hedgehog’s Team Development for Sitecore, the Glass mapping framework, MS Build, Powershell or TeamCity and a general understanding of UX best practices, Scrum, Gulp and Search Engine Optimization is an advantage – but not a requirement.
