Dentistry is currently undergoing immense digitalization and 3Shape is leading the game of 3D scanning, advanced image processing and modelling. About the position – We are looking for additional SW developers to 3Shape R&D
As a software developer in 3Shape R&D you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to our end-users and improving patient care around the world in the years to come. You will be a part of a highly professional software development organization with 300 colleagues across three countries headquartered in Copenhagen.
You will work in an agile team, typically with 5-10 colleagues, and collaborate closely with dedicated Software Architects, UX’ers, Product Managers, QA Team, Project Managers, Customer Care, and all the other roles that make our teams strong and self-driven. Depending on the team you join, you will build a mix of new apps, new features, new algorithms, and new integrations - and we will tailor a personal onboarding program to get you quickly up and running and kick off your career within 3Shape.
Your responsibilities could be
- Investigate: Help get new features off to a great start by working closely with architects, UX’ers and product managers to define the solution
- Build: Implement new features, including coding, peer reviews, unit testing etc.
- Improve: Help improve the quality by bug fixing, the team’s process by recurring retrospectives and reduce technical debt by refactoring
- We are using technologies and tools like C#, .NET, WPF, Visual Studio, TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub
Your qualification
3Shape is growing a lot these days, and we are looking for both graduates and senior developers, specialists and generalists - When you apply you will be asked to rate yourself in specific areas but you will recognize yourself in the following areas:
- Solid theoretical foundation from a degree in computer science, engineering, IT or similar
- 0-10 years of experience as a software developer
- Take ownership, see the big picture, and have a pragmatic approach
- Has a natural curiosity towards technological advancements and keeps up to date on .NET and software development in general
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English
