Position

3Shape is working on their next-generation storage and replication engine that will help dentists do smart sharing and collaboration on data with colleagues worldwide. The solution will integrate with the large portfolio of 3Shape dental software for diagnostics and treatment of patients.

3Shape is looking for a new colleague - Expert Cloud Developer - to strengthen the development team, particularly to work on a cloud-native version of our data storage and transfer engine. The data may vary from small JSON documents to giant 3D x-ray files, and the solution will be used worldwide by tens of thousands of users daily. 

You will have a large impact on all decisions regarding design, development, and operations. We are collaborating closely with other project teams across the 3Shape portfolio to get the best possible end result for the users.

Your qualification

You are a skilled developer who likes to work on a project where quality is key. You are experienced in making stable and high-performing cloud solutions, and you are keen on contributing to both design and development. Most of our work is back end, but you are not afraid to work on all aspects of the project including UI and CI/CD.

You are an outgoing person who shares information, asks questions, and likes team-work. The team is distributed between 4 developers in Denmark and 2 in Macedonia. We employ agile development, and we focus on a fun and friendly atmosphere and close collaboration with daily video meetings and frequent visits.

Your profile

• 3+ years of software development experience on cloud-native solutions
• Experience with parts of our technology stack
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and high-performance code
• DevOps mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
