Position
Novo Nordisk is looking for a Full Stack .NET Web Developer who can convert business needs for data-enabled processes to user friendly tools and solutions, sees himself/herself supporting cross-functional data and IT projects with different stakeholders within the organisation to join them in the department Supply Chain Optimisation in Clinical Supplies.
The new systems developer will be responsible for developing new applications in Clinical Supplies (CS), and will be a key person in understanding and developing our systems and data for the clinical supply chain in close cooperation with two other systems developers and a solution architect.
The department
Before drug is approved for market use, drug candidates are tested in clinical trials. CS is responsible for delivering drugs for Novo Nordisk’s clinical trials around the world.
Supply Chain Optimisation is a department of 11 colleagues, who work across CS and with direct link to CS Management. Our role is to carry out strategic projects optimising the clinical supply chain. Our way of working is informal and ambitious at the same time. We work in close cooperation with Line of Business, who are the users of our solutions, and our approach to internal IT development is agile.
We are responsible for IT systems and tools used for supply chain management e.g. for simulation of demand in clinical trials, pack and distribution planning, planning of clinical trial activities.
Responsibilities
- We need you to have a deep understanding of our systems and tools, their data and their capabilities enabling us to release the full potential in optimising our processes
- Design and develop applications and tools primarily based on the .NET platform
- Work with business subject-matter experts, project managers and relevant department colleagues
- Assist in maintaining and supporting existing solutions some of the time. You will get the possibility to influence our approach to systems development
- In projects with external vendors you will support and challenge our vendors
Your qualification
- A Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, IT or similar and have several years of experience working with IT and business processes
- You have documented results within systems development
- You have a solid analytical foundation that you apply in your work
- You have several years of experience with the .NET framework and preferably in C#
- Proficiency in SQL and you have a mind for user interface design but are also comfortable working on the back-end
- You take an interest in the business and you understand how the tools you implement support the business processes
- On a personal level you thrive from helping colleagues, you work independently, deliver high quality, keep calm and focused under pressure and keep deadlines
- You are fluent in Danish and English both written mand spoken
- It is an advantage if you have supply chain experience and understanding of regulatory requirements
