Position

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join our Omo Team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our health and fitness applications. You'll collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements, create test plans, and integrate automated testing. We are looking for an experienced professional, passionate about the Quality Assurance and who's ready to be part of a team that creates the #1 apps in the world in the Health & Fitness category.

Omo is an all-in-one app that helps users build healthy habits to improve their health using the most effective methodologies. The full-cycle team now includes 35+ professionals who are fully committed to improving the user’s experience and results.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and supporting automation tests (Mobile UI + API)

• Creating test specifications, test plans, and test execution plans based on functional and non-functional requirements

• Maintaining, changing, and expanding the current test framework

• Executing and optimizing the test procedures and scripts

• Gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage

• Evaluation and communication of test results, success criteria, and test coverage

• Production and test environment's health monitoring

• Collaborating with other development/non-development teams

• Writing, maintaining, and supporting test documentation

Your qualification

• 3+ years of experience in test automation (Java)

• Strong knowledge of the programming language Java (be ready to switch to Kotlin, because it is the main language)

• Good knowledge of programming principles (OOP, SOLID, etc.)

• Strong theoretical knowledge of software testing, methodologies, approaches, and test design techniques

• Experience in API testing (protocols/networks)

• Experienced Unix user

• Practical experience with Appium, Postman, Git

• Experience with some Automation framework

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges and deliver impactful solutions.

• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across the organization.

• Load testing (JMeter)

• Performing code review

• Experience with CI/CD
