Position

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full stack features that integrate LLMs/AI to automate brokers’ day-to-day workflows (e.g., intake, policy review, summarization, email drafting)
• Develop and maintain React/TypeScript frontends and Python-based APIs/services that power reliable, high-quality AI functionality
• Prototype, experiment with, and evaluate prompts, tools, and LLM architectures (e.g., RAG, function calling/agents) to improve accuracy, latency, and UX
• Instrument, monitor, and iterate on AI features using A/B tests, offline evaluations, and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Build secure, scalable integrations with broker tooling (email, document systems, CRMs, AMS) to bring AI into existing workflows
• Collaborate with product, design, and client-facing teams to scope requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-ready features
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to application reliability, performance, latency, and model behavior; clearly communicate trade-offs and decisions to stakeholders

Your qualification

• 3+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer, preferably working with B2B or SaaS products
• Proficiency in frontend development with React and TypeScript, building performant and usable interfaces
• Strong Python skills for backend services, APIs, and workflow/orchestration
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and LLM tooling (e.g., PydanticAI, LangChain), including prompt engineering and integrating LLMs into product features
• Ability to clearly document designs, findings, assumptions, and workflows, and to communicate insights effectively
• Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Previous experience with insurance data or in the insurance industry is a strong advantage
