Position
- Support the Product and the Development Team in their quest to create the best products for our Customers
- Lead by example, guiding the organization on how best to use Agile practices and exemplify Agile values
- Assess the maturity of the development organization
- Coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the organization
- Find and remove impediments to the team's success
- Build a trusting, safe environment where problems can be raised without fear, blame, retribution, or judgement emphasis on problem solving
- Facilitate getting work done, positive discussion, consistent decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and dissemination of information
- Educate and train Product and Development Team, especially with respect to refining and managing the product roadmap
- Work with the Product team to write stories and feature descriptions that allow the Development team to flourish
- Work with the Development Team to decode and understand the requirements defined by the Product Team
Your qualification
- Software development experience, preferably in a startup environment, for at least 5-7 years
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team
- A degree in computer science or similar subject
- Previous commercial work experience is essential
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD,Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
Will be a plus
First or Second level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, CSP)

- Good skills and knowledge of leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of numerous, well-documented patterns and techniques (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
- Development experience with Cloud technology, Financial industry software, and/or Web applications
- Knowledge of the Java, JVM, Relational Databases, etc.
- Fluent in English
