Bold Commerce is coming to Europe. We would like to meet with our applicants for an in-person interview, so we are flying to Paris this spring. Please note that applicant is required to pay for their travel. Bold Commerce does not cover the cost of travelling or accommodations for the interview process.
Your qualification

- Experience designing and building highly scalable distributed applications
- Proven ability to take a feature from concept to production
- Ability to apply software design patterns in a real-world environment
- Have an understanding of web security
- Experience working with and designing REST APIs
- You love learning new things, as well as sharing your knowledge and mentoring
- 5-7+ years experience working as a developer
- Post Secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent program
- Passionate about shipping code

Other skills that will get you far:
- PHP, Javascript or Go
- Comfortable with Linux
- Experience with or interest in TDD, CI, and CD
- Experience working with Laravel, or other Symfony based frameworks
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (i.e. Shopify) and/or payment platforms (i.e. Stripe)
- Front-end Frameworks like React, Angular or VueJS
- Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform or another Cloud Platform
- Concourse CI, Jenkins or other CI software
- Neo4j or other graph databases
- Contributing back to open source
- Impress us with anything else you can do! Juggle knives, make a killer mixtape, or bake delicious pastries
- Must be English-speaking. Ability to speak French is an asset, but not a requirement
