Position
We are currently seeking an experienced backend Ruby developer / full stack developer (frontend skills with Angular JS and React) to join our growing engineering team.
Description
The developer will work directly as part of the team responsible for our world renowned Scoop® mobile-work Process Management and Automation (mPMA) platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain our product using our core technology stack
- Provide technical guidance and direction to other developers
- Write unit test using RSpec
- Participate in all Scrum practices
- Continuously learn, correct and build better!

Requirements
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in computer science or software engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience building scalable enterprise software
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies (especially SASS, CoffeeScript, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL)
- In depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL and developing REST APIs
- At least basic familiarity with Amazon Web Services like EC2, RDS, S3
- Deep passion for product, technology and software
- Able to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills on the fly
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Process-oriented and passionate about continuously improving
Will be a plus
- iOS development experience (Swift)
- Android development experience (java)
- Familiarity with frontend development using React or Angular JS
- Experience with RSpec and Jasmine
