Position

The Later QA development team is expanding to include a Mobile QA Developer. We’re looking for a detail-oriented test automation developer who can work alongside the existing QA and development team to ensure the quality of our mobile software products by creating and maintaining automation test suites. Our web and mobile applications are used by tens of thousands of users every day and our users are increasingly demanding more and more from our offerings. We value testers that provide efficient quality assurance and risk free releases by becoming experts in the systems they validate.

Responsibilties

• Set up and develop automated test for Later iOS and Android applications
• Work with developers to provide automatic test reports and quality status on each merge in a Continuous Integration environment
• Design, develop, and execute test cases in an agile-ish setting through the new software development cycle
• Develop and maintain automated regression suites for mobile applications
• Create and execute manual test cases for new features where needed
• Write efficient test plans and test cases that exercise all logic paths
• Sign off on features efficiently and with confidence in the quality of the product
• Work alongside the customer support team to debug and solve quality issues
• Investigate bugs beyond their surface cause and provide accurate, detailed bug reports
• Add to the QA strategy by evolving QA tools, processes and best practices Be detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customers

Your qualification

• 2 years’ experience in mobile automated test development
• Knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing
• Experience in manual testing and contributing to singing of on the quality of features and systems
• Ability to quantify and communicate the quality of a product to stakeholders using KPIs

Will be a plus

• Multi platform test automation experience (web FE,BE,iOS and/or Android)
• Programming experience with mobile development frameworks
• Experience with the awesomeness that is JIRA
• Exposure to and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development
• Testing qualifications such as ISTQB
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of: Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Physics
