Position

We’re looking for our first robotics engineer to help implement software for control, modelling and testing of our robot. In addition, tasks may involve mechanical design and prototyping, electrical design, testing and assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience working and taking lead on projects which involve mechanical, electrical and software skills and will be willing to help in day to day tasks of a startup.

You will work primarily on software development in the following areas:

• ROS based control software
• Embedded real time control software for brushless motors
• Embedded real time firmware
• General scripting

Your qualification

• You’re fluent in C/C++
• You have experience with a scripting language (preferably python)
• You possess a strong control systems knowledge
• You’re knowledgeable in multi-threaded software and concurrency
• You have strong debugging skills in both embedded and non-embedded systems
• You possess knowledge of control systems
• You’re passionate about exoskeletons and have strong knowledge in the field
• You’re excited about making yourself and the world a better place

Will be a plus

• You possess knowledge and experience with ROS, OROCOS
• You’re experienced in web application development
• You possess experience with AWS services and tools
