Position
Our hiring partner, based in Toronto, is a market network that connects food wholesalers, importers, and vendors to restaurants, hotels, schools, and grocery stores.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to expand their team.
Responsibilities:
- Work across multiple teams and with multiple key stakeholders (engineers, QA, product manager and designers) from requirements all the way to production to build maintainable, scalable and high-quality products
- Drive all stages of the software development cycle, including definition, design, development and rollout of iOS-based solutions
- Participate in the product design process and contribute ideas from a product-focused engineering perspective
- Work across the native Objective-C application
Your qualification
- 4+ years experience working as a React Native developer
- Desire and passion to create memorable end-user experiences
- Experience with Objective-C/Swift/Java/Kotlin is a plus
- Experience with unit testing and test methodologies
- Ability to apply and drive best development practices (e.g. Agile, clean code, unit tests, continuous integration)
- Knowledge of iOS SDK, different versions of iOS, and code versioning tools including Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Company’s technology stack:
- The platform and applications run on Google Cloud. The backend services are built using Python and Go, a web frontend with React and Redux, and native Android and iOS applications (in Objective-C)
