Position

You, as part of the Windows Platform Department at The Stars Group Sofia, will be joining a fast paced, exciting Agile environment, supporting large-size corporate locations in production and QA environments from Windows OS which includes maintaining hardware, storage systems and etc. The team’s mission is to minimize down time for the production and at the same time to developing new solutions and to deliver high quality service for our customers all around the globe! This roles carries a lot of responsibility and often challenging but it is also a very good environment for deployment, learning new stuff by being involved in exciting projects and tasks.

Part of your job will be to install and configure server’s hardware, operating systems and applications as well as supervising and maintaining servers systems and networks. You will be troubleshooting issues, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults. When is necessary you will communicate to the employees in the company or clients in order to help them setting up systems or resolving the problem. The communication with them may happen in a series of actions – either face-to-face or over the telephone.

Your role is essential because you will provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports, maintaining the Active Directory environment and controlling the controlling inventory of IT assets in the enterprise.

Your qualification

• 7+ years of experience with Windows 2012 and above, as well as Active Directory and standalone environment
• 7+ years of IT experience in an enterprise environment
• Solid skills in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Perl)
• Experience with hardware monitoring systems
• Experience with unified messaging solutions (Skype for Business)
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or MS Azure
• Excellent customer service skills, creativity in troubleshooting and problem solving, and eager to learn and develop in his/her carrier

As an ideal candidate you should be:

• Familiarity with operating systems (i.e., Linux, OSX, macOS, iOS, etc.)
• Familiarity with other IT disciplines, (i.e., Telecom, Datacom, Messaging, Server operations, Video Conference, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange server 2016
• Knowledge in HP, DELL, Oracle, EMC, Juniper, Cisco solutions is an asset
• Knowledge of Salt Stack or other automation solutions
• Familiarity with servers hardware architecture

The salary for this job is based on experience, so whilst we are not able to go into detail at this stage, we can say that we offer great salary packages and also like to throw in a discretionary annual performance bonus. In addition, we provide advice and financial relocation assistance to those moving to Bulgaria.
