Position

Showpad has opened an Information Security Officer vacancy for a permanent position located at our Ghent based Headquarters. The Information Security Officer will report to the Director Security and Compliance and will be responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of the Showpad Information Security Management System. The Information Security Officer works with a wide variety of people from different internal departments and different locations, bringing them together to manage current and future physical, logical and information security risks.

Key responsibilities as a Junior Information security officer

Operating and maintaining an ISO/IEC 27001 based Information Security Management System (ISMS) including:

• Help manage and maintain the Information security risk management program and perform risk identification, assessment and control selection activities. Follow-up on risk treatment activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with the development of the enterprise security architecture including the creation of policies and processes at the business, information, infrastructure, and application level
• Perform and follow-up on internal audit activities including setting up an internal audit plan and preparing for audit reporting to the Showpad management 
• Lead information security compliance projects including planning, guiding, executing and reporting on the progress
• Create user awareness by setting up information security campaigns and providing trainings to create a security aware company
• Help ensuring the compliance of our infrastructure and sustain our ISO/IEC 27001 certification status
• Provide specialist advice to current processes and strategies and act as the main contact for compliance and security related issues
• Coordinate and help setting up security tests and be active in vulnerability management activities with the IT and Engineering team
• Support our Go to Market department in responding to compliance and information security related RFP’s or questions from customers or prospects. Create customer facing documentation 
• Maintain process to assess and monitor critical third-party suppliers information security
• Help support the Business Continuity Program and facilitate training and exercises. Report on BCP and DR performance to the Showpad management

Your qualification

• Higher degree with at least 2 years relevant experience in the information security and risk management area
• A first experience with security standards
• Strong understanding of IT environments
• Maintain relevant information security and/or risk management certifications
• Strong initiative and drive
• High level of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
• Impeccable English writing and speaking skills

Will be a plus

• Proven success in a B2B Saas organisation
• Experience with the SSAE 16, ISAE 3402 and ISO/IEC 27001 security standard is an asset
• Knowledge of PCI or HIPAA (although at this point not implemented at Showpad) could also help in mastering our used security standards
• Certifications such as the following would be most welcomed: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, Security+, CEH
