Position

The Opportunity

EdApp is truly a large scale global platform, with around 50,000 lessons being completed on our platform every day across the world. EdApp was traditionally built to be an Enterprise platform, however since launching our freemium model last year we have exploded in the small-medium business market our goal is to reach 1 million monthly active users in the next three years. As a Product Manager at EdApp, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex problems that impact users worldwide. You will collaborate with a small group of driven, curious and customer-minded Product Managers and have a lot of fun doing it.

You will lead product growth, defining and owning the vision, strategy and roadmap for our newly formed team whose mission is to transform the way training is delivered for desk-less workers by converting existing materials and replacing outdated and inefficient methods. This role is a highly cross-functional role and plays a very strategic role for the future of EdApp.

You Will

  • Define the product vision and strategy for EdApps content conversion efforts, new ways to deliver training and blended learning solutions within the EdApp platform
  • Leveraging our access to SafetyCulture’s 28,000 customer base you will build a deep understanding of our customers in manufacturing, hospitality, construction, FMCG and retail to identify areas of opportunity
  • Own your product area roadmap ensuring it aligns with the vision, strategy & OKR’s for the platform as a whole
  • Prioritise product ideas and ship experiments to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience to drive the growth of our self-service customer base
  • Articulate and validate your roadmap both internally with leaders and externally with customers and partners 
  • Blend product usage data with customer insights to identify opportunities to drive your product forward to increase usability and customer experience
  • Champion customer activation and onboarding across our products and collaborate with other product teams on when and how to introduce new features throughout our customers’ journeys
  • Coordinate and manage tradeoffs between engineering and design to ensure timely releases while delivering impactful results to support business growth

Your qualification

  • You have 2+ years product management experience
  • You are the true champion of the customer! You are passionate about truly understanding our customers, championing their needs, and advocating for them in all interactions across the business
  • You are curious! You continuously seek out feedback from customer and stakeholders, explore competition and market-leading products and apply insights to prioritisation and iteration to adjust future milestones and priorities and drive the vision of your team
  • You are data led! You are comfortable analysing product and customer data, identifying key success measures and developing hypotheses
  • You are a great communicator! You can tailor your communications to every audience, motivate teams through storytelling and ensure no one is surprised by new changes
  • You’re a team player! You work effectively with cross-functional teams and can manage tasks and interests from many stakeholder groups
  • You are mission driven! You are excited about bringing the magic of EdApp to millions of workers across the world, on the mission to democratise learning

Will be a plus

  • You have experience working in the EdTech Industry
  • You have previous experience working for one or more large-scale mobile or web products that have international scale and are supported by a user generated content model
