Position

With the primary goal of enhancing our systems and processes, we are looking for a highly motivated IT professional with excellent communication skills. The key purpose of the role is to lead technology strategy to facilitate business goals and drive forward new software development whilst maintain existing software systems.

Role responsibilities:

• Willing to take ownership of all decisions for the system regarding its future strategy and underlying technology platforms
• Proactively manage all IT operations to ensure a robust IT environment
• Actively identify software incidents and problematic areas in the system and implement strategic solutions
• Analyse and implement requests for additions or functionality changes to a large in-house developed business application
• Regular interaction with all members of the business to support their day to day information system requirements
• The majority of your daily interactions will be with non-technical team members so the ability to communicate and elicit accurate requirements at all levels will be vital 
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to determine technical direction and approach to system design and implementation
• Change management and training users
• Create quality documentation (user guides and functional documentation)
• Willing to take ownership of all decisions for the system regarding its future strategy and underlying technology platforms
• Proactively manage all IT operations to ensure a robust IT environment
• Continually identify problematic areas and bottlenecks in the system and implement strategic solutions
• Lead technology strategy to facilitate business goals

Your qualification

• Commercial experience with .Net Framework (4.5), C#, Razor, Web Forms, JavaScript, jQuery
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server - querying, stored procedures, schema design
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS
• Good familiarity with web services, WCF & Web API
• Exposure to Telerik Kendo UI suite of controls
• Efficient use Visual Studio IDE
• Ability to understand and modify legacy ASP / VB script code
• Understand and appreciate business work flows implemented in software
