Position

Project: the German-American company, which develops a high-loaded (100,000 visitors per day) search platform related to furniture. Available in 3 countries: Germany, USA, Italy.

The platform provides the ability to compare products from more than 800 manufacturers such as IKEA, Otto, Home24, Roller, Baur, XXXL.

Technology stack: Back-end - Java 8, Spring, PHP7. Front-end - Vue.JS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Agolia, Nuts. Databases - MySQL.

CI/CD - Ansible, Jenkins. AWS, Kubernetes etc.

What will you be responsible for:

• Maintain Kubernetes, Networking and our CI/CD pipelines
• Design & implement a deployment strategy using mainstream cloud services provides including networking, security, data storage, and transfer, automation and monitoring aspects
• Support development teams with implementation of cloud-ready applications
• Improve the automated infrastructure provisioning
• Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions

Your qualification

• 3+ years of experience in a 24x7 uptime environment
• Experience using docker and use of an integration platform at a reasonable scale
• Knowledge in Kubernetes, GitLab CI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Ansible or equivalents 
• Experience of building/retrofitting effective instrumentation (monitoring/metrics) for existing applications is advantageous

Work Schedule and location

You can work from home 1 day a week. If you want, you can come earlier and, accordingly, leave earlier (+/- 2 hours). The workplace in the office is in two steps (actually less than 1 minute!) from the metro station Pecherskaya. Every day you can have a lunch here in a new place - the full abundance of establishments (Mafia, Casta and so on).
