In our multidisciplinary, international and agile environment you will work on innovative products and services which we release more and more by continuous delivery. So youll be working today on a new food experience that our customers will be able to use tomorrow!

Theres no I in Jumbo

As a team lead you will be responsible for one or two scrum teams that form a cell.

These teams are improving our online proposition and in general consist of a Scrum master, an analyst, developers (Java, Node.js, iOS, Intershop, front-enders and/or testers), a UX designer and a product owner. Because you have a technical background you can grow the team by coaching the team members and provide them with constructive feedback. As a team lead you will be HR responsible for the people in your team and you will have the responsibility to hire new colleague’s. You will be working together with the Scrum master, product owner, technical pathfinders and other team leads to help the team deliver high quality products and improve speed of delivery. You also help the teams in working with other teams to achieve the goals and mission of the organization.

You will meet regularly with the development manager to celebrate the team’s successes and to discuss issues that need to be addressed. The development manager will also help you find your way at Jumbo and enable your career development.

Your qualification

You enjoy working in a Scrum-based team. With the knowledge and experience you have you are sparring partner for other team leads within Jumbo. You are the initiator of change. You speak and write English fluently, and can tick all of the following boxes:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• At least 8 years of experience as a developer and 2 years of experience as a team lead, preferably in an ecommerce environment 
• Experience with recruiting developers
• You have experience in communicating on all levels within the company
